Born in a family who have practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I have been influenced by it at a young age. TCM was my primary health care system when I was growing up and still is today. From fever to sore throat, I have always turned to TCM for help. That’s when I’ve started to develop great appreciation for TCM. I decided to devote my time to study TCM after receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. After becoming a licensed acupuncturist in 2017, I have practiced in Illinois and Wisconsin before moving to Washington state. My last internship was at Wuhan Chinese Medicine Hospital both in the inpatient department and the outpatient clinic.
TCM can both prevent illness and treat the underlying causes of disease which is what makes it so great and unique. It goes along with what Thomas Edison said: “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” My treatments are individualized based on your specific conditions. I understand that we need to look at the whole picture to make sure your body and essential elements are balanced.
I will take the time to listen to your health concerns and provide compassionate care by using acupuncture and other natural modalities. In my treatments I often do a blend of acupuncture, cupping, electro-stimulation and bodywork. I focus on improving your health physically, mentally and emotionally by bringing harmony and restoring balance. I take a genuine interest in what I do to meet you where you are.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my toddler son. We like taking hikes in the national parks.
