
Dr. Alaina Goesling, Naturopath, L.Ac.
Alaina Goesling, ND, LAc, FABNG is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist at Zen Attitude Acupuncture in Seattle, and is also a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology. She specializes in integrative gut health care. She is passionate about helping patients heal digestive conditions using evidence-based natural medicine, functional medicine, nutrition, and Chinese medicine.
Dr. Goesling is a proud alumna of Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, and completed an advanced two-year residency at Kwan Yin Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, affiliated with the National University of Natural Medicine. During her residency, she trained extensively in primary care and developed advanced expertise in digestive disorders and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.

Having struggled with chronic gastrointestinal and skin conditions throughout her life, she experienced firsthand the limitations—and sometimes harm—of conventional medical approaches alone. Discovering naturopathic and Chinese medicine transformed her health and inspired her to pursue this path, allowing her to deeply empathize with patients navigating complex chronic conditions.

Life Beyond the Clinic
Outside of practice, Dr. Goesling enjoys painting, playing volleyball, tennis, and pickleball, and exploring the outdoors through boating, hiking, and skiing. She shares her adventures with her beloved 110-pound Alaskan Malamute, Queen Anne.
